Robert Davi: This man was born with with the perfect bad guy face. He's also a trained opera singer but had to give it up after an injury (though he still preforms). Movies: The Goonies, Licence to Kill, Die Hard, Maniac Cop 2, Predator 2, Maniac Cop 3: Badge of Silence, The Expendables 3, Showgirls. TV shows: Profiler, The Pretender, A-Team, the Fall Guy, The Incredible Hulk.
Al Leong: He might not have as many acting credits as some of our other That Guys, but he's got some good titles among them: Savage Beach, Die Hard, Big Trouble in Little China, Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure and even some episodes of 24 and That 70's Show. He also co-stars in a comedy about 80's action guys called Awesome Asian Bad Guys with George Cheung and Tamlyn Tomita (just those two hold almost 300 acting credits between them), that one could be super good, or super painful... But he's one of our only That Guys who's also a stunt man: Double Impact, They Live, Hot Shots! Part Deux, Escape from L.A., he even stunt coordinated on Kung Fu: The Legend Continues!
Clarence Gilyard Jr.: Sure "the quarter back is toast" but, Matlock and Walker Texas Ranger also would have been without Clarence. He had a knack for getting recurring roles on TV, in addition to co-starring on Walker Texas Ranger and appearing in 83 episodes of Matlock, he was also in 20 episodes of CHiPs and 13 episodes of something called The Duck Factory. (The Duck Factory; staring pre-In Living Color Jim Carrey. What the hell could that TV show even have been about???)
Grand L. Bush: Not only does Bush play a badass in Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, Demolition Man, Freejack, and Lethal Weapon 2, he's also a real life badass. Back in 1993 he saved a man from the scene of a shooting. Robert Nimmons had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, Bush put Nimmons in his car and drove him to the hospital saving his life! Last year Bush was invited to Nimmons' daughter's wedding to watch Nimmons walk his daughter down the isle, a feat only possible because of Grand Bush's selfless actions.
Won't you join us to see if you can spot any of these That Guys tonight?
